He said to the crowd: “When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘It’s going to rain,’ and it does.  And when the south wind blows, you say, ‘It’s going to be hot,’ and it is.  Hypocrites! My Thoughts: Are we interpreting this present time? As Jan Markel likes to say, “Things are not falling apart. They are falling into place.”

Friday’s Verse, 7/7/23

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. Verses for Meditation, 7/6/23

“Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.” 2 Timothy 2: 25-26 NIV (emphasis mine)

My thoughts: A kind, gentle spirit has the potential to awaken people and bring them to their senses. This is God’s way.

My thoughts: The Bible puts great emphasis on the importance of Truth. We can always depend on God’s Word, even when we don’t understand. Man’s opinions, not so much.
