Sunday’s Memory Verse, 2/2/25
“When I said, “My foot is slipping,”

When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought me joy.” Psalm 94:18-19 NIV
The Hebrew word “tanchum” refers to comfort or consolation, often in the context of providing solace during times of distress or mourning. It embodies the act of offering emotional support and reassurance, reflecting a deep sense of empathy and compassion.
When anxiety is great within us, God Himself will comfort us if we look to Him. There is no better comfort than that.

Tuesday’s Verse, 1/28/25
“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.” Titus 2:11-14 NIV
