” … casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. 1 Peter 5:7 AMP
“Worry is unnecessary; there is no need for us to bear the burdens when He is willing and able to bear them for us. Worry is futile; it hasnβt solved a problem yet. Worry is sin. A preacher once said: βWorry is sin because it denies the wisdom of God; it says that He doesnβt know what Heβs doing. It denies the love of God; it says He does not care. And it denies the power of God; it says that He isnβt able to deliver me from whatever is causing me to worry.β Something to think about! Believer’s Bible Commentary
That might be hard to hear, I know. Nevertheless, it is true. Refuse to worry; instead, trust the Lord who loves you. He will see you through.

Excellent and challenging post on worry. Here is a useful quote on it:
βWorry is not only a form of fear, but it is a form of unbelief.β

That is so true. I am praying today that God will strengthen my faith. Our enemy, Satan, attacks our mind. Oh how we need God’s grace to strengthen even our faith. Blessings, Alan! π

Cindy, this is such an important reminder, and that verse from 1 Peter really says it all: “He cares about you.” I think sometimes we know that truth in our heads, but actually living it out and handing our worries over to God can be a very different matter.
I especially liked the reminder that worry can deny God’s wisdom, love and power. It’s a sobering thought, because when we worry, we’re often trying to carry something that God never asked us to carry alone.
I’m certainly guilty of it myself. I can pray about something and then, five minutes later, start worrying about it again as though God needs my help! But faith means learning to say, “Lord, I’ve given this to You, and I trust You with the outcome.”
Thank you for this encouraging reminder, Cindy. Whatever we’re facing, God already knows, He cares, and He is still in control. π

Yes, God cares about you and Sarah. And He cares about me and all His children. We are blessed to know Him and blessed that we can share our testimony with others. Blessings, my friend!

Amen, Cindy. That really is the blessing, isn’t it? We don’t just have the privilege of knowing Jesus for ourselves, but we get to share what He has done in our lives with others. And I think that’s especially powerful when we remember that our testimony doesn’t have to be perfect or profound – it simply has to be honest about what God has done.
Thank you for your prayers and for always pointing us back to Him. Sarah and I are truly grateful for His grace, His faithfulness and the peace that comes from knowing that He is holding us, even when we don’t know what lies ahead.
Blessings to you too, my friend. May God continue to use your words and your testimony to encourage others and point them towards Jesus. π
