Tuesday’s Verse, 8/16/22

True story: Many years ago a friend of mine and her husband were celebrating their twentieth wedding anniversary, and I sent them a framed illuminated manuscript of Psalm 126:3. What I didn’t know at the time was that my friend had just found out she was pregnant with baby #8. The words of the verse (“we are filled with joy”) turned out to be prophetic, as when the baby was born they named her Joy. 🙂
