Tuesday’s Verse, 6/9/20

“He reached down from heaven and rescued me;
    he drew me out of deep waters.
 He rescued me from my powerful enemies,
    from those who hated me and were too strong for me.
 They attacked me at a moment when I was in distress,
    but the Lord supported me.
 He led me to a place of safety;
    he rescued me because he delights in me.” Psalm 18:16-19 NLT

With Love,

Cindy

  1. I make it a point, not to watch the news, but just check my phone to see headlines. That alone, is very distressing. It seems we are rushing into the end days. I immerse myself in God’s Word, His goodness. But, there are times, when it is more difficult, not to get discouraged, even for a moment. It was such, today. I enjoyed seeing a wren, taking food to her babies, joy! Then, I saw the latest headline. Insanity has become the norm. Went to my email, and there was your ever encouraging blog. Praise God! Those words always point to the One Who is King, the Majestic Glory! In Him, we will trust. Your blog is so important, so needed, and so loved. Bless you. Soli Deo Gloria!

    1. Thank you for sharing your day. I experience the same thing. Too much news is depressing. I’m so glad the blog has encouraged you. That is my prayer. God’s Word is alive and active. Blessings, Joan!
