I love Jesus and I love the Bible – reading and studying it. I believe God put this in my heart for a purpose. I have taught women’s Bible studies and children’s Sunday School over the years. In fact, I’m currently teaching a 1st and 2nd grade Sunday School class at our mission church. Sometimes, I have thought that teaching a few young children might be something I could “let go”. But, God says to me, “No. They are important to Me.”
God is continually impressing on me that I must seek to help individual people and not be moved by numbers. I guess that’s because every individual is dear to His heart and He loves every single person so much.
I have 3 adult children, 2 wonderful daughter-in-laws and 3 precious grandchildren. I have 2 grand-dogs, Henry and Gadget. They like to spend the night with me when their owners are out of town. Henry (the Yorkie) thinks he’s in charge. (I wonder why?) I also love plants and keep many on the front porch in the summer.
I’ve had many ups and downs in my life, times of strong faith and times when faith barely hung on. I hope I can encourage other imperfect Christian women by sharing how the loving kindness of the Lord has been with me through it all, even though I never deserved it.
