Insights from Isaiah

1-minute read Tuesday’s Verses, 3/4/25

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
As the rain and the snow
    come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
    without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:8-11 NIV

The Importance of Tasks in Faith: Apollos, Paul, and You

1-minute read Monday’s Verse, 3/3/25

“What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.” 1 Corinthians 3:5-8 NIV

Comments: Each of us has been given a task, a part to play in God’s plan. But it is God who makes the seeds we plant grow.

“The Lord makes firm the steps
    of the one who delights in him;
though he may stumble, he will not fall,
for the Lord upholds him with his hand.” Psalm 37:23-24 NIV

The Truth Behind the Bibas Family Tragedy

3-minute read

It is very difficult for me to write about this horrific event, but I feel I must. My heart is absolutely broken. We can’t be silent or ignore this atrocity. We must, at least, learn the truth so that we will not be vulnerable to the propaganda that seeks to excuse this cruel savagery.

According to the security establishment’s assessment, the horrific murder of the Bibas family children was committed about ten days after the October 7 massacre. On a personal note, reading the details of their autopsies was one of the most difficult things I have experienced in a long time. (Hallel Biton Rozen)

IDF Spokesperson: Kfir and Ariel were murdered with bare hands, then terrible acts were committed against them to obscure the circumstances of the murder!

Yarden Bibas asked me yesterday to ensure that the entire world is shocked by the circumstances of the murder of his children. (Amir Tsarfati)

Shiri Bibas and her children were taken hostage by Palestinian civilians on October 7—not Hamas operatives! Civilians!!! After those same civilians murdered Shiri’s parents and even killed their dog. She was last seen in Gaza, barefoot, wading through the streets while holding her 9-month-old baby, Kfir, and her 4-year-old son, Ariel—surrounded by Palestinian civilians.

70% of the Palestinians who entered Israel on October 7 were civilians. They murdered, raped, looted, and burned lives… Let’s not perpetuate the absolute lie that all of this was “Hamas.” Hamas is just the tip of the iceberg. (Amir Tsarfati)

We know that many cruel and barbaric things are happening or have happened in our world. I mourn for all of them. But what happened to this family is evil and demonic. Please pray for the hostages and their families. May they turn to the Lord for comfort and healing in their grief.

Lean on God and allow Him to continue the process of healing your broken heart.

Jesus, the greatest empathizer, understands what you are going through and will stay beside you.

The Lord will wrap His arms of love and comfort around those who trust in Him.

God promises to be with you and get you through this time of intense disappointment and loneliness.

My Redeemer Lives!

1-minute read Verses for Meditation, 2/27/25

“I know that my redeemer lives,
and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
And after my skin has been destroyed,
    yet in my flesh I will see God;
I myself will see him
with my own eyes—I, and not another.
How my heart yearns within me!” Job 19:25-27 NIV

Quote of the Week, 2/26/25

You can be Jewish and have no connection with Christians, but I can’t be Christian and not be completely connected to the Jewish people. Our entire faith is built on the foundation of Judaism and the Scriptures. We are people of the book and in Genesis it says that God blesses those who bless Israel and curses those who curse Israel.”
