1-minute devotion for Friday, 2/20/26
There is nothing more loving you can do for your children than to instill in them a love for God’s Word and teach them to pray by your example.
“We will tell the next generation
the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord,
his power, and the wonders he has done.
He decreed statutes for Jacob
and established the law in Israel,
which he commanded our ancestors
to teach their children,
so the next generation would know them,
even the children yet to be born,
and they in turn would tell their children.
Then they would put their trust in God
and would not forget his deeds
but would keep his commands.” Psalm 78:4-7
In His Love, Cindy

I saw the most beautiful example of children being led in things of God at our brother John’s funeral yesterday; his children and grandchildren all testified of how they treasured his time teaching them lovingly of his Saviour and his hope in Him. It was so encouraging to many of the folks there. God bless you richly today my friend and sister 🙏
