1-minute reflection for Tuesday, 2/3/26
Jesus taught His disciples saying,
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16
Reflect on this: Light and darkness cannot exist in the same space because light dispels darkness just as the rising sun does every morning. We must remember that wherever we take the light of Christ, we are dispelling darkness.

Alan, These verses have been important to me since I was a young child and learned this song:
🎶 “This Little Light of mine, I’m going to let it shine! Let it shine! Let it shine! Let it shine!
Did you sing this as a child? God bless you, today! 🙏

Yes, we sung that song in primary school (elementary school in the US ?). We still had religion/church involvement at that time, which was discontinued eventually during my senior school years.
