I think about legacy whenever with the grandkids. We have been blessed to spend a few weeks with them on a beach and then in your neck of the woods (snow-ice and all). It’s always a question…”how can I pass along traits of a Godly walk?”

I don’t know how they did it, but my grandmothers had a huge influence on me and my love for Jesus. Even though I lived hundreds of miles away most of my life, I loved them dearly. If I had to pick one thing, it would have to be the love they showed me. I felt totally loved when I was with them. They also took me to church. I lived with one of of my grandmothers for 6 years. I gave my life to Jesus during that time. God bless you and your family, Gary! I have no doubt that you are influencing their lives more than you know!

Hi Cindy. Iβve been thinking lately about how easy it is to focus on providing for children materially, but real life lessons often come from the example we set in our words, actions, and choices. Proverbs 22:6 really drives that home. Itβs a comforting promise that even the small seeds of faith we plant now can grow into something lasting. Thank you again for this thoughtful reminder to live with intention and pass on what truly matters.

Thank you, Mary, for your encouraging message. We plant the seeds, but it is God that makes them grow. (1 Corinthians 3:6-7)
God bless you and your family, today! π
