The Greatest Legacy

Quote of the Week for 1/28/26

“The greatest legacy one can pass on to one’s children and grandchildren is not money or other material things accumulated in one’s life, but rather a legacy of character and faith.” —Billy Graham

“Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he grows older he will not abandon it.” Proverbs 22:6 NASB

In His Love, Cindy

All Scripture is from the NIV unless stated otherwise.

  1. I think about legacy whenever with the grandkids. We have been blessed to spend a few weeks with them on a beach and then in your neck of the woods (snow-ice and all). It’s always a question…”how can I pass along traits of a Godly walk?”

    1. I don’t know how they did it, but my grandmothers had a huge influence on me and my love for Jesus. Even though I lived hundreds of miles away most of my life, I loved them dearly. If I had to pick one thing, it would have to be the love they showed me. I felt totally loved when I was with them. They also took me to church. I lived with one of of my grandmothers for 6 years. I gave my life to Jesus during that time. God bless you and your family, Gary! I have no doubt that you are influencing their lives more than you know!
