1-minute devotion for Sunday, 11/23/25
“Do not let mercy and kindness and truth leave you [instead let these qualities define you];
Bind them [securely] around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart.
So find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man.” Proverbs 3:3-4 AMP (emphasis mine)
Jesus prayed for His disciples, “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.” John 17:17

I love the connection you’ve made here. Proverbs 3 tells us to bind kindness and truth to our very being, and then Jesus reveals that God’s Word is that truth which sanctifies us. It’s the ultimate “how-to” for a life marked by His love. Thank you for this insightful share, Cindy!
