you surround them with your favor as with a shield.” Psalm 5:12 NIV
Psalm 5 is a psalm of David, used in worship. David expresses trust in the Lord’s protection. May we do likewise.

What a blessing it is to be surrounded by God’s protection! This verse reminds me of Psalm 3:3 – “But You, O LORD, are a shield about me,
My glory, and the One who lifts my head.” He has us covered on every side, back and front! Thank you for sharing this verse today Cindy. May our Father God have you surrounded in His blessings today dear sister, Amen 🙏

My husband experienced God’s protection this past Monday night driving home from work. A person on an E bike was riding on the wrong side of the road and turned right in front of my husband, it was dark and the person was wearing dark clothing. No one was hurt, no one was injured, the vehicle did not touch the person, the handlebars of the bike were damaged from them hitting the grill. DEFINITELY the mercy and protection of God!

Maryann, That is a great story. I had something like that happen to me years ago. I pulled up to a very busy intersection and stopped. I thought the light was red. My friend said, “Cindy, the light is green!” Suddenly an 18-wheeler went barreling across in front of us. God saved us by making me see the light as red when it was green. I’ll never forget it!
Thank you for sharing your experience. God bless you!!
