1-minute devotion for Monday, 11/3/25
“…choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve…But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15
These stirring words are from Joshua’s last sermon to the people before he died at age 110. May this be the cry of our hearts as well.
“as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
In His Love, Cindy

What a proclamation of devotion and unending faith, may it be ours every day as we rise and as we lay down. 🙏
Thank you Cindy 😊

Alan, The more I study the Word of God, the more I understand how much He asks of us – to forgive, to take up our cross, to obey His commands (to name a few.) And yet, I observe in many Christians and churches, a compromised faith that seeks to fit-in with the world and to avoid any controversy. May the Lord continue to guide and direct our paths as we seek Truth. God bless you richly as you serve Him! 🙏

In my view your reply certainly ties in with Bruce’s post earlier today.👍

This is framed and hanging on the family room wall. It was bought at a thrift shop a few years ago.

Just read this verse recently in my Bible reading plan. Those words are just as crisp, fresh, and applicable (today) as they were thousands of years ago!!

Yes they are! And the more I study the Bible, the more I realize how true that is of the whole Book! Amazing, isn’t it?! Blessings, Alicia! ✝️
