1-minute devotion for Monday, 10/6/25
“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life.
Rescue me from my enemies, Lord,
for I hide myself in you.
Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground.” Psalm 143:8-10
David’s prayer demonstrates his trust in God, his desire to do God’s will, and his humility before God. May we learn from David’s example.
In His Love, Cindy

This is a beautiful and powerful way to start a Monday. Thank you for this timely devotion. You’ve perfectly captured the heart of these verses—showing how trust, surrender, and a desire for guidance are all intertwined. What a profound prayer to carry into the week: “May your good Spirit lead me on level ground.” This is a much-needed reminder to begin not with our own strength, but by placing our trust in Him. Blessings on your week
