Sunday’s Memory Verse for 9/28/25
“He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
He determines the number of the stars
and calls them each by name.
Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit.” Psalm 147:3-5
Astronomers estimate that the universe could contain up to one septillion stars – that’s a one followed by 24 zeros. Our Milky Way alone contains more than 100 billion. (NASA)
Yet our God calls each star by name!
In His Love, Cindy

Sometimes I think we need a little “reality shock” that reminds us of God’s incredible power and glory! Blessings, Nancy! Thanks for commenting!

I have no reference point for that many stars. No wonder God views our life as a vapor. In comparison, our lives are very few seconds long, yet our eternal destiny is decided in those few seconds that will last longer than the number of stars.

On a crisp clear night it seems like millions can be seen. Impossible to count.

Yes, He is! I’ve always wanted to go to a place where you can see the stars really well. There are special places just for that purpose. Blessings, Anna!

What a wonderful reminder, sometimes it is so hard to get this human mind to even fathom the wonders of God. Blessings to you.
