Charlie Kirk was loved by people around the world, and by me.
Thousands of young people gathered to hear him speak on college campuses around the USA. He would cheerfully engage in debate with anyone who disagreed with his stance on freedom and truth.
Charlie was not afraid to proclaim the truth. He was a champion for the unborn. He revealed the shocking truth about transgender ideology that is destroying children’s lives. And he did it with a smile on his face and love for America’s youth. He didn’t back down from societal pressure, ever.
Yesterday, he was assassinated by a sniper’s bullet. I am still in utter shock and heartbroken. Who would do such a thing!? Consider this:
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.” Ephesians 6:12-18 ESV (emphasis mine)
“Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me. Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me. Which one of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.” John 8:42-47 ESV (emphasis mine)

Demonic possession is a reality. A number of people don’t believe in the devil and demons. Well I know for a fact they do exist because they were visible to me in a house we once lived in. Being a born again Christian I was not afraid of them. After moving from there we found out that demonic rituals were performed on the property.So yes demonic possession is a reality today for unsaved individuals.

Thank you for selecting and sharing scripture that I believe would be “Charlie” approved. He was a brilliant communicator of God’s Word and literally wore his heart on his sleeve.

The thing which killed him is a coward. He couldn’t even face Charlie but had to hide on some building. He is in the presence of Savior now.

Our colleges and universities are the breeding grounds for all that is evil. Why would Christian parents send one of their children to be cast into that sewer? Distance learning should be considered.

Yes. I believe the assassin was radicalized. The markings on his bullets and gun reveal that.

Radical sites on social media and video games are a huge factor, also. The kids develop a sense of belonging to a group who is more knowledgeable than the people in their lives. This is one of Satan’s deceptions.

I wasn’t familiar with Charlie Kirk but when I heard about his murder, I just couldn’t wrap my mind around it. I think it’s horrible and I hate that things like this keep happening. There are people who are celebrating Charlie’s death (people are making videos about this on YouTube and saying that it’s concerning). He was a human being for crying out loud but that doesn’t matter to those individuals who are threatened by truth/God’s word. Praying for his family.
