1-minute devotion for Monday, 9/1/25
Jesus said, “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” (Matthew 18:6)
My Thoughts: Worldly influences prey upon our children every day. They may come through TV, social media, schools, music, or books. How can we protect these little ones? Here’s a start:
- Pray for them.
- Teach them God’s Word.
- Take them to church.
- Protect them from propaganda as much as you are able.
- Have conversations with your child when controversial subjects come up, letting them know they can talk to you, unafraid. Listen to them carefully. Respond with love and gentleness.
In His Love, Cindy

Parents and grandparents can have a tremendous effect on a child’s spiritual life. I know mine did (even though they didn’t live to see it.) Now there’s a lesson for us all. God bless you, Nancy! And thank you for your support. 🙏

Very well said. I did exactly that with our kids, including homeschooling when called to do so. Our God is faithful
