1-minute devotional for Tuesday, 7/22/25
“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.” (Matthew 24:37-39, NIV 1984)
My thoughts: What was it like in the days of Noah? Watch TV.

We do not really watch TV much any more. This is an interesting study, “Noah’s Days”. The enemy of our souls also created much corruption in the genetic make up at the time of Noah, just like in today’s world. It is a topic not for the faint of heart for it deals with the fallen angels and the work they accomplish with willing human souls, the same deception of those days is again upon humanity.
It is why the Word of God tells us that our warfare is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities of the air. Prayer is so important and the hand of God is moved by prayer that is in accordance to His Word. May His grace abound in the hearts and mines of His called ones. So glad you are on that team. Blessings to you.

Genesis 6 tells us that the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and the earth was filled with violence. Chapter 4 tells us “the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually”.
There is more evil in the world today than we want to know about. But it is there none-the-less. I’m glad to hear you aren’t watching TV much. It is filled with propaganda that calls evil good, and good evil. God bless you, Eileen!
