Choosing Between Life and Condemnation

1-minute read Mondays Verse, 3/10/25

“The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” John 3:35-36 NIV

Commentary: God does not send people to hell; rather, people send themselves, choosing the condemnation they are already under. God’s wrath remains on fallen humanity, but thankfully, God has provided a way out through faith in Christ. (Jeremiah Study Bible Notes)

  1. Thanks Cindy, one thing I have found is that people who think they are good without Christ, will go to heaven. So they believe when Christians tell them different it is Christians who are being judgemental. It is the Word of God not His children who made up this message. And it if free will that decides rather to accept it or not.

When I first started in street ministry, I thought it was my responsibility to get a firm acceptance of Christ from the person I was witnessing to. Praise the Lord He quickly corrected that. My job is to just tell the message, it is not on me to get the conviction, only the Holy Spirit can do that.

Amazing how much more I was willing to share knowing that was all God asked of me, just share His Word and how it impacted my life.

    Have a blessed day.

    1. Yes, we plant the seed, but it is God that makes it grow.
When a person doesn’t like a commandment, they also often say you are being judgmental if you speak about it. But we still have to speak the truth. God bless you today, Eileen! 🙏💕
