1-minute read Tuesday’s Verse, 2/11/25
“This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun
to shine by day,
who decrees the moon and stars
to shine by night,
who stirs up the sea
so that its waves roar—
the Lord Almighty is his name:
“Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,”
declares the Lord,
“will Israel ever cease
being a nation before me.” Jeremiah 31:35-36 NIV Read full chapter
Comment: In other words, God will never cease to acknowledge Israel as a nation.

Amen, Cindy. It’s been so long since I’ve been here. Like always, your testimony, faith, and sharing always touch my heart. I’ve been completing a whole-bible study and it’s been….exceptional.
Through sickness, health of my aging parents, my sons’ moves,…all the changes in life, Cindy, God’s promises remain! He will never cease to acknowledge Israel. Our God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and the generations after is the SAME God will never leave nor forsake us. Although I’m not here very often, I often think of you and Henry and stop to thank God for you both. Love, Karla and Finley. May God keep you and bless you. 🙏🏼❣️🙏🏼

Dear Karla, It is so good to hear from you my friend. I have been really busy. I’m running the food pantry at my church while the regular managers are out of the country for 3 months. It is taking up a lot of my time. Henry is still doing well after our little scare. I think about you often and as always I keep you in my prayers. You are loved!! God bless you and sweet little Finn! 🙏🐾💕

Oh, Cindy, you’re such a wonderful human/woman/Christ-follower. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus. I can only imagine how busy you must be!
Thank you for your constant encouragement. Our enemy is defeated, my friend. He’s tried so hard to wear on me these last several weeks. Between family moves, my parents’ health, and in some ways, my own health taking some steps in the wrong direction. Oncology visit on Thursday, palliative care stepping in to help me with pain…planned future trip to NCI. In the “overwhelming” of life I pause and pray. I truly don’t know how people live without Jesus! And I’m so thankful I have friends/sisters to walk alongside and hug along the way. And sweet pups too! God bless you both! Please take care (don’t run yourself too hard :-)! ❣️❣️🙏🏼🥰🐾🐾🤗💛

Karla, I am praying for you, my friend. You have a lot on your plate, but you are still an inspiration to many others. I agree with you when you say, How do people live without Jesus? God bless you and Finn! 🙏💕🐾🤗

As a Christian, I have always stood firm on the fact that God loves Israel and its people. It’s sad to say this and to reaffirm God’s word over Israel is seen as a negative. Thank you for standing firm on the word of God!

Thank you for commenting! Your encouragement is much appreciated! The Bible makes it clear: Israel is the apple of God’s eye! “the one who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.” Zech 2:8 Blessings!
