Tuesday’s Verse, 2/4/25
“This is what the Lord says:
“Let not the wise boast of their wisdom
or the strong boast of their strength
or the rich boast of their riches, but let the one who boasts boast about this:
that they have the understanding to know me,
that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness,
justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight,”
declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 9:23-24 NIV Read full chapter
Two directives God gives us as He uses people in His service:
- That they do not boast about themselves or any personal achievement
- That they give the glory to God (from Jeremiah Study Bible notes)

Amen! That’s right. All glory goes to God. He alone gives us the gifts we have to use to serve Him and others to glorify Him.
