This verse always stops me in my tracks when I look at the wretched world and think “man I just wish Jesus would hurry and return!!”…..but it’s because of the mess that He is patiently awaiting the remorse and salvation of those who He knows will eventually choose to follow Him….in His perfect timing, not mine at all. His patience is such an example of care and hope for humanity.
