Verses for Meditation, 8/24/23

“Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens,
    your faithfulness to the skies.
Your righteousness is like the highest mountains,
your justice like the great deep.
You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.
How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!
People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.” Psalm 36:5-7 NIV

In His Love, Cindy

        1. I will tell you a secret (since you live on the other side of the world). I was feeling sad yesterday. Seeing a couple on a motorcycle, I was reminded of my ex-husband and how we rode on his motorcycle when we were dating. It triggered a sadness that I couldn’t ignore. Then today, God spoke strongly to me through His Word about how much He loves me. I guess we have to be reminded sometimes. My Scriptures are scheduled about a month in advance so it’s amazing how many times the Scripture for the day on my own blog is just what I need to hear! But to be sure I got the message, it was on your blog, too! What a loving God we serve!

      1. Beautiful idea! I’ve been doing the same! Cindy, so much is happening around me. I’m meditating on his goodness. Another verse I have meditated on this week is, “The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14. I’m learning to release things that burden me (God is moving in the lives of my sons and DIL’s through my cancer) and hold on to HIS hand. THEY are in HIS protective care. I will keep praying…I pray all day, my friend! HIS Presence stays with us and the blessings are unfolding. 💛
