My prayer, “Lord, because of you I have life. I want to think like you, act like you, feel like you…” This is so hard at times, Cindy. Through all my health ups and downs, daily life, the love and the losses. …I’m reading two little books about the “Christ Life” versus “Christianlife” (by A.B. Simpson) and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Coupled with my own dreams, adventures, health…I just hope to reflect Christ. I know I haven’t always. But I do desire it. Many blessings, sweet Cindy. 🙏💛

I would say that to desire it is the most important part! It’s the condition of our heart that matters most. Studying God’s Word changes us, sanctifies us. (John 17:17) Many blessings, Karla!

Even though I don’t read the amplified Bible regularly, I do love how it expands personal understanding of verses. Today’s verse shared by you is a great example of this Cindy. Thank you, God bless you today sister 🙏

Same for me. Sometimes I just check the AMP version on a particular verse to see what it says. That is so easy to do on Bible Gateway. Blessings, Alan!
