“Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.” 2 Timothy 2: 25-26 NIV (emphasis mine)
My thoughts: A kind, gentle spirit has the potential to awaken people and bring them to their senses. This is God’s way.

So glad to see this today, my hubby has a friend who justifies his rudeness by saying the Bible tells us to be “brutally” honest. Praying he gets this scripture before he offends more people.

Yes I agree.
To be honest I struggle with how to share the gospel in love and truth but gently. I enjoy talking about God but I want to make sure I allow the Holy Spirit to guide my words and tone.

Your love for that person will shine through. When I was teaching special education students, I never had a problem with parents because they knew I loved and wanted the best for their child. Blessings, Tiffany!
