How Can We Protect Our Children?

The world (and our children) are being brainwashed like never before. In an attempt to normalize homosexuality, TV and even commercials show men kissing men and other sinful behaviors. And it isn’t subtle! It’s right in your face!

Libraries are bringing in drag queens to entertain little children.

I’m amazed at how easily our culture has been completely changed, virtually overnight. And for our youth, this is all they’ve ever seen on TV, in commercials, and even in cartoons.

In some schools, transgenderism is being promoted and even encouraged. This is outrageous!

Militant transgender advocates are imposing their agenda with uncompromising zeal on schoolchildren.

That’s fine with President Joe Biden. His administration announced this month that by April, it will enhance the legal entitlements of transgender public-school students, with new guarantees regarding access to bathrooms, locker rooms and sports competitions.

These issues grab the headlines, but they’re less harmful to most students than the damage being done by the distortion of the school curriculum. From the youngest age, students are being brainwashed with gender ideology.

Children — as young as 5 — are being encouraged to disregard their anatomy and choose their gender based on their feelings.”

New York Times, April 17, 2023

At least for people my age, we know it hasn’t always been this way. That’s why training our children according to God’s Word is so vitally important.

Christian parents must teach their children that God loves the sinner. He died to wash away our sins because He loved us so much. But that does not mean we should allow them to be brainwashed into thinking that what God calls sin is to be accepted as normal behavior.

Some parents are sending their children to a Christian school. Some are homeschooled. Some parents have removed television access. Individual parents must decide what course of action to take.

“These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:6-7

“Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!” Deuteronomy 5:29

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17

As Christian parents, we must teach our children according to God’s Word. In this day and age, it will not be easy. It will require us to honestly evaluate the situation we find ourselves in and take action to protect our children.

  1. Well said Cindy! Our governments (UK and USA) are failing our children and grandchildren; it us up to us as parents and grandparents to teach God’s Truth to our families, preserving them from the evil indoctrination of a satanic world.
The lines have been drawn and are widening between God’s Word and the laws of our countries, and there is no right to disagree with them.
I recently marvelled at the victimisation of an elderly Councillor in England who voiced her opposition to Pride flags in public places, saying that such subjects are not appropriate in public. This lady in her 80s is of a generation that believed rightly that such discussions were for private spaces. Now she is being sent for gender counselling by her authority and attacked publicly by many activists. Sadly this is the world we live in, where such attacks will become more frequent and forceful on those with a Godly Moral Compass.

    1. Thank you, Alan, for your excellent comments. Speaking out today probably won’t cost me since I am retired. But if I was still a public school teacher, I’m not sure if I would still have a job. The Councillor you mentioned has lost the right of free speech. This may be the most dangerous part of it all.

  2. The things I see and hear, like you mentioned, are so shocking. There is absolutely no explanation for it other than spiritual warfare. I heard this week about a student in a local school here who identifies as a cat so the school has put a litter box in a bathroom for her. Unbelievable! Homeschool or Christian school is the only way to go. We are living Romans 1.

    1. That is a wonderful thing you did for your son. I was able to send my children to Christian school. But most people can’t afford private school. That’s why it is so sad that the enemy is moving into our educational system here in the U.S. How things have changed since I was in public school! Thank you for commenting, Sue! Blessings!

  3. Thank you for sharing, Cindy! While I don’t have children yet, I’ll be sharing this with those who have children.

May God protect our children now and always!

  4. Crucial good points Cindy. Public schools indoctrinate and pollute young minds and its nearly impossible to reverse. I pray that parents find ways to homeschool or other alternatives.
Nice to find your blog, I really like the option to read it in other languages!

  5. This is a fantastic post and I love that you made a point about teaching children to “love the sinner while not accepting the sinful behavior”! -so important. I write about the connections between SOGI ideology (sexual orientation & gender identity), New Age spirituality and politics on my blog and I recently posted a very in-depth cultural analysis related to all of this, titled: Androgyny; The Precursor to Collapse. I know my perspective is a bit far-out but I’d love your feedback anytime. God is good and He shines in your writing! I thank Him for posts like these!

    1. Lisa, I just finished reviewing your article. I thought it was very good and very thorough. I don’t think your perspective is far-out at all. I had not made the connection between Androgyny and the collapse of a society, but it certainly makes sense. I am amazed at how quickly society is falling apart. As Jan Markel likes to say, “Things aren’t falling apart, they’re falling into place.” I think you would like her website. Jan explains how all this craziness fits into Bible prophecies about the end times. Her website is https://olivetreeviews.org/
I can see that you put a lot of work into your article and I thank you. God bless you as you contend for the faith and speak Truth. It is a spiritual battle and the devil will fight you as he does me. But greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world!
