your transgressions, for my own sake,
and remembers your sins no more.” Isaiah 43:25 NIV

It was a day of black angry clouds. a very dark day. All of a sudden there was a little hole in the clouds with yellow suns rays poking through. I had to get the camera.

Good verse, Cindy. I wonder about the words, “for my own sake.” I wonder why blotting out our sins is for God’s sake … Something to think about. Maybe that He wants to blot out our sins more than we want to repent and be rid of them..?

David Jeremiah Study Bible notes say that He chose to forgive their sin “for the sake of accomplishing His plan of redemption”. See Ezekiel 36:22. Notes: He “restores them for the sake of His name and glory so that He may bless all the nations”.
Thanks for turning my attention to this. I hadn’t really thought about it until you brought it up. So much to learn in His Word! Blessings, Annie!
