I so agree with the quote. A long long time ago, students learned to read from the Bible. That practice waned and little by little families and churches even left off study. I am grateful for my church that has a very strong Bible study program.

That is a big blessing! But Bible study isn’t strong in all churches. Every Sunday, my pastor urges us to read the Bible daily. I believe this is an urgent message of our day. Blessings, CAM!

Amen! I will heartily agree with that one! Just think of what God could do with His chosen if ALL Christians were obedient in reading His Word so we know how to obey.

That was his observation 40 or 50 years ago. I don’t think things have gotten better, but my prayer is that the Church will cherish and highly esteem the Word of God. Blessings, Annie!
