and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing to you,

When I was a child, I had a bookmark (I think that’s what it was.) that had that verse on it as the way to close my Bible reading/devotional time. (The opening verse was “Open my eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy Word.” – Psalm 119:18)

Those childhood keepsakes mean more than we realize. I received a glow-in-the-dark cross for memorizing Psalm 23. It has stuck in my memory all these years, or should I say decades! Blessings, Annie!

I think I got one of those, too! Having something that glowed in the dark was fairly novel in those days, so I thought it was “utterly cool.”
