“You care for people and animals alike, O Lord.
How precious is your unfailing love, O God!
All humanity finds shelter
in the shadow of your wings.” Psalms 36:6b-7 NLT
The dog in the picture is my father’s dog, Shadow. Shadow was a great comfort to my dad during his last days on earth before he went to be with the Lord.
With Love, Cindy

How nice that your father had Shadow as a companion in his final days. I have said that I sometimes think dogs are angels with four paws. โค

That’s the truth. My sister is his owner now. He is a special little guy and he followed my dad everywhere (hence his name being Shadow). My dad was in the hospital several months at the end and I made Shadow an Emotional Support Dog so I could take him with me to the hospital. All the nurses knew his name and loved to see him come in. Of course my dad expected to see him everyday!

Haha! You were more innovative (and righteous) than I was when I visited my elderly friend in the nursing home. I remember on several occasions smuggling critters in, like hamsters and baby squirrels. ๐
