Real Christian Women 
One morning when my oldest, Joanna, was little, she told me about two dreams she’d had. One was about a man (Man) who was going to die, and as she told me, she was crying. “He said he was willing to die, as long as the children would get to live.” Then she cheered up and said, “Then I dreamed I had beautiful new purple slippers.” Then she grew thoughtful and said, “Mommy, all I really want to do is be a missionary.” Of course, when she told me the first dream, I knew it was about Jesus, and when she told me the second one, I thought of this verse. Yes, she will have beautiful feet – in the purple slippers – the color of royalty. And I don’t think she knew she was tying the two together when she said she wanted to be a missionary. Out of the mouths of little children … ❤
