I do not consecrate myself to be a missionary or a preacher. I consecrate myself to God to do His will where I am, be it in school, office, or kitchen, or wherever He may, in His wisdom, send me.”

Indeed, we are called to serve God wherever we happen to be, whenever He prompts us. It makes life an adventure!💖

Hi Cindy–glad you like that 🙂 After being a dry nominal Christian for so many years–(not entirely my fault, I didn’t have vital churches/teachers)–when the Lord turned the Light on for me in 2011, nothing has been the same since! I never dreamed life could be this vibrant and vital adventure–that the Bible, and my relationship with Him would come Alive. I’m so glad and grateful! And it’s amazing that He just never stops–but keeps pouring on the blessings and leading me higher and deeper. Every day’s a ‘WOW, Lord!!’ May your days be so blessed too–thanks for being here on the blogs, it’s so fun to share!! ❤ 🙂

Interesting that this giant if the faith mentioned school, office, and kitchen, but not prison, where he wrote some of his greatest messages. I read him many years ago and so admired how he spent his time in prison writing to other believers.

I also read him many years ago and had forgotten that he spent years in prison. He was arrested in China on false charges in 1952 and he died in prison in 1972. He left a piece of paper under his pillow when he died. It said: “Christ is the Son of God who died for the redemption of sinners and resurrected after three days. This is the greatest truth in the universe. I die because of my belief in Christ. Watchman Nee.”
