Verses for Meditation, 11/4/21

“Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.” Psalm 1: 1-3 NIV Read full chapter

I just got done commenting on a blog post that –one of my followers wrote on her site. It was about a past time that Christians do not partake in. But I used to. I commented from my experience without rejecting or criticizing the pastime.

    I had second thoughts like:
What if other people who read me see I have experience with this?
    What will others think?

Then I reached your post in my inbox: “who does not walk in step with the wicked”…

The lady who wrote said blog I commented on…. knows I am a Christian, with a colored back ground. And while I wasn’t endorsing this pastime, I felt like I was making an in-road to bonding with her non-judgmentally

    But then that verse !
    What do you think?
    Blessings, Kate
