I love this verse. I love the song we used to sing at church with these lyrics. And I love the memory of a dream my oldest daughter had when she was a little girl about “a man who was going to die, and he was going to die so that the children could live… Then I dreamed I had beautiful purple slippers… I want to be a missionary.” She didn’t see the connection, but I did. 😉
