“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. I love these verses so much. When I am feeling overwhelmed, they remind me to look to Jesus and let his strength fill me and carry me. I am not alone, after all. He is with me and working for me, even though I don’t see him. Thank you for posting ❤

I love this passage. Lately I was thinking about Paul’s weaknesses and how the Lord has used them. It has been suggested that one of his physical problems was poor eyesight – maybe residual or returning problems from having been blinded when he was struck by lightning at his conversion. I let my imagination take over one week and wrote a blog piece about Paul’s experience under house arrest, and how the Lord used his “weakness” to bring people to Him in a very specific way.
