My Thoughts: To have a fear of the Lord means you wouldn’t dare to exalt your own opinions and desires over God’s Word.

Friday’s Verse, 8/11/23

“Similarly, teach the older women to live in a way that honors God. They must not slander others or be heavy drinkers. Instead, they should teach others what is good.” Titus 2:3 NLT

My Thoughts: I like this verse because, well, older Christian women have a lot of wisdom to share! I hope you have an older woman to look up to and turn to for advice. My grandmothers were wise women and I miss them so much.

Sunday’s Memory Verse, 7/23/23

“And He will be the security and stability of your times,
A treasure of salvation, wisdom and knowledge;
The fear of the Lord is your treasure.” Isaiah 33:6 AMP

My Thoughts: Even in these times, He promises security and stability to those who fear the Lord. That is our treasure.
