“Then they will know that I, the Lord their God, am with them and that they, the Israelites, are my people, declares the Sovereign Lord. You are my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign Lord.’” Ezekiel 34:30-31 NIV Read full chapter

Jesus said, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.” Matthew 16:2-3 NIV
My thoughts: There are many signs that Jesus’ return is near. Are you ready?

“Forgiveness is an act of the will, and the will can function regardless of the temperature of the heart.”
Corrie Ten Boom
NOTE: Corrie ten Boom and her family helped Jews escape the Nazi Holocaust during World War II and, by all accounts, saved nearly 800 lives. Corrie was caught and remanded to the notorious Ravensbrück concentration camp, near Berlin. On December 16, 1944, Corrie was released for reasons unknown. She began a worldwide ministry that took her to more than 60 countries where she preached forgiveness and God’s love.

“Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:14 NASB
Think About This: “It is in the waiting that we see our need for God. It is in the waiting that we learn a deeper trust. It is in the waiting that we learn to praise God despite our suffering. And it is in the waiting that we learn where to place our hope.” Patty, Waiting Slow, From her excellent blog, He Said What?

Sometimes people are just blind to the Truth. But the Holy Spirit can open blind eyes. Pray that God will open the eyes of unbelievers and those who follow false religions.

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32 NIV
My thoughts: In a day of great deception, there is one sure way to know what is right and what is wrong, what is false and what is true.

The Bible teaches that God’s Word is the ultimate source of objective truth, providing a solid foundation for understanding God and the world … it is essential for believers to rely on God’s objective truths as the ultimate source of guidance and wisdom in navigating life.”
