Tuesday’s Verse, 8/8/23

“Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:27-29 NIV (emphasis mine)

My Thoughts: If we reach out to Him, He never fails to answer.

My Thoughts: Shouldn’t we praise and worship Him every day with our whole heart?

“Anyone you forgive, I also forgive. And what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.” 2 Corinthians 2:10-11 NIV (emphasis mine)

My Thoughts: One of Satan’s tricks is to encourage us to hold unforgiveness in our hearts. Don’t do it!

My Thoughts: May we never lose sight of the fact that “This world is not our home.”
