Is There Hope for America?

The only hope for America is that she will seek Truth and love it. Jesus is the Truth. His Word is Truth. Therefore, we have access to Truth.

The devil is the prince of this world and the father of lies. His goal is to deceive and destroy.

Jesus said, “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” John 8:44 NIV

The tolerance of Satan’s lies has had severe consequences:

  • Anti-semitism is at an all-time high.
  • Terrorism is cheered while the innocent are hated (U.S. college campuses).
  • Transgender surgery on children is promoted and protected by law.
  • Homosexuality is considered a normal lifestyle.
  • Over 1 million babies are murdered every year by abortion.
  • Freedom of speech, our First Amendment right, is being taken away by anyone who disagrees by labeling it “misinformation” or hate-speech”.
  • America, once a Christian nation, has become anti-God. (Just ask any Christian over 70 years old. They have seen this happen right before their eyes.)

PRAY FOR AMERICA!

The Bible says, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—  for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.  This is good, and pleases God our Savior,  who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2: 1-4 NIV

I urge all Americans to prayerfully consider the choices before us in this election. Vote for the agenda you want to see carried out. They are very different.

“The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord;
He turns it wherever He pleases.” Proverbs 21:1 NASB

Many died to give us freedom and the right to vote. Don’t toss it aside.

“For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.” Nelson Mandela

  1. This is a sobering post today Cindy because of the circumstances that the world is in, but there is hope available to all in God alone. I pray for our world and countries, especially regarding the relationship between our countries which is deteriorating fast. The President’s increasing friendship with Putin has caused great concern, such that in UK there is much talk of possible war on the horizon and the urgent need of conscription. As believers beyond national boundaries we need to pray for Godly leaders in our nations. God bless you today sister 🙏

  2. The citizens of the United States can turn. Choose to repent. Early in life, I knew the United States as one nation under God, the Father of Christ. That’s not Christian nationalism, but a realization of the country’s foundation. Today, we’ve gone astray, committing despicable sins. We can pray in harmony with Daniel 9:19 NLT: “O Lord, hear. O Lord, forgive. O Lord, listen and act! For your own sake, do not delay, O my God, for your people and your city bear your name.” For the sake of God’s reputation, we can repent of the many sins and pray for the restoration of the United States as one nation under the Christian God.
