Quote of the Week for Friday, 10/23/26
“Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important.” C.S. Lewis
“Then he (Jesus) said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23 NIV

Excellent quote from C.S. Lewis, which reminds of Josh McDowell’s book “More Than A Carpenter ” where he states there are only three options to choose who Jesus is: “He is either a liar, a lunatic or The Lord.” God bless you today sister 🙏

Wow, what a powerful pairing of quotes! That C.S. Lewis quote is such a stark reminder of the weight of what we believe. Tying it to Luke 9:23 hits home – taking up a cross daily completely rules out treating faith as just moderately important. Thanks, Cindy, for sharing this today!
