We keep trying to treat wisdom as something we can accumulate, but Scripture insists it’s something we receive only after we bow.

You’re not offering a technique or a strategy; you’re pointing us back to the posture that makes wisdom possible. “The fear of the Lord” isn’t terror — it’s the deep, joyful recognition that God is God and we are not. In a world that prizes self‑confidence and self‑definition, that’s a countercultural starting point.

    Your connection to God’s covenant with Abram is a needed anchor. Wisdom isn’t abstract. It’s rooted in a God who binds Himself to His people with an everlasting promise. When we remember that, instruction stops feeling like correction and starts feeling like care.
