Reflection for Tuesday, 6/16/26
“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!” Matthew 18:6-7 NIV
As we reflect on these words of Jesus, let us consider the spiritual needs of our children and ask the Lord to give us wisdom and discernment so that we can protect them and teach them what is right.

I pray the Lord opens the eyes of parents, enabling them to see the harm caused by cultural trends, social media, and artificial intelligence. I ask God to turn that awareness from intellectual knowledge to whole-hearted action, protecting children from the people and technology proven to cause actual and potential harm.

The timing of this post is amazing Cindy. I was at a church meeting last night where one of the topics for discussion and prayer was our yearning for children in our wee fellowship. We love and serve our Lord, but we would love to see an influx of families and particularly children. Thank you for sharing this encouraging message today my friend and sister. God bless you 🙏

Alan, Thank you for your encouragement today. My church also wants to see families and children come into our fellowship, as the bulk of our membership is elderly. What to do? That’s a question for another day. God bless you, dear friend and brother! 🙏
