A reflection for Thursday, 3/19/26

“We who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” Hebrews 6:18-19
Our hope in Christ is a firm expectation and confidence in all He has promised. By this, we are greatly encouraged.
In His Love, Cindy
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you.”
Psalm 122:6 NASB
All Scripture is from the NIV unless stated otherwise.

Excellent nautical themed encouragement, thank you Cindy. This reminded me that one size or style of anchor does not fit all ships and conditions. This is also the case with our spiritual anchor; it is made to fit our specific needs. God bless you today sister 🙏

Dear Cindy, this is so timely and precious. Our hope in Christ is firm! IT’s the anchor I trust. Through health, schedule changes, daily life events, …all of it. HE is the Anchor. THANK YOU and God bless you for being a light for Him. Finn and I send our love and prayers to you and Henry. 🙏🏻❣️🐾

Karla, I’m so thankful this spoke to you today. I am reminded of this song:
“In Christ alone, my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand”
Love you, Sis! God bless you!
