1-minute devotion for Friday, 1/2/26
God spoke to Moses from the flames of a burning bush. He said,
“And now come, and I will send you to Pharaoh, so that you may bring My people, the sons of Israel, out of Egypt.” But Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?” And He said, “Assuredly I will be with you.” Exodus 3:10-12a NASB
Commentary: “Moses typified human response when God calls someone to do what seems beyond them (Who am I…?), yet the success of any divine mission is never dependent on human abilities. The Lord’s words – I will be with you – were intended to focus Moses on the true Source of his future success.” Jeremiah Study Bible Notes

Thank you for sharing this ever pertinent message of hope in God, our provision, and the guide in all things. I have often felt the same as Moses, especially when preaching, but He is very close and encourages me. God bless you today sister 🙏

When we realize that we are inadequate, we must depend on God. That’s a good place to be for when we are weak, then we are strong! (2 Corinthians 12:10)
I’m always grateful for your comments. Blessings, Brother! 🙏
