1-minute devotion for Friday, 12/19/25
“Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, “What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again?”
“But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.” 2 Peter 3:3-4a and 3:8-9 NLT Read full chapter
My thoughts: Now is the time to spread the Good News, while Jesus tarries.

The urgency of sharing the Good News grows with each passing day, week, month, and year – Jesus is coming back soon. Personally I think His return may be in my life time, but quite certain it will be in the lifetime of our children…all the more reason to share the Good News with our loved ones. God bless you today my dear friend and sister 🙏

Alan, Yes, it’s all the more reason to share the Gospel. Yet, I find it more and more difficult to know what to say to those I know who don’t follow Jesus and those who are caught up in worldly things. May the Lord give us wisdom and insight. Blessings, my friend!
