1-minute devotion for Sunday, 11/30/25

“For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:13-14

“I waited patiently for the Lord;
    he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
    out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
    and gave me a firm place to stand.
He put a new song in my mouth,
    a hymn of praise to our God.” Psalm 40:1-3

The following is my first attempt to write a song. I’m still learning how to use Suno, but I would like to share it with you. Comments welcomed.

  6. Wow, I’m in the dark ages with AI…Beautiful song generated from a psalm? Did you supply a tune or suggest other instruments filling in on separate tracks? Who is singing? OK lots of questions but the song is great with those words

    1. I wrote the words in the song as a poem in 2019. Alan Kearns told me about this site, Suno.com
      AI generates the music and even the singer. You can pick the type of music and try different ones. It is incredible.
