A Personal Message to My Readers

Today, I am feeling an especially deep appreciation for the friends I have made through blogging. That is the reason for this post.

A lot has changed since I began my blogging journey eight years ago. In the early years, I was able to read the blogs of all my readers and send them encouragement. The Lord laid this on my heart: If you encourage just one, that is something wonderful!

Today, the Lord has increased the number of readers and I can no longer contact everyone individually. I wish I could write to every one of you and read all your posts, but even though this ministry is full time, the best I can do is to read a few blogs each day and answer comments. The rest of my time is spent in Bible study, research, and writing.

I want to thank you for sharing my posts with other media. I also want to thank you for your comments. I read all comments and prayerfully reply to each one.

I love my “blog family”. It is here that I have connected with many Jesus followers around the world, some of whom I have come to know like a personal friend. I’ve been greatly encouraged through you often. Many times, through one of your posts, God has absolutely spoken something to my heart that I needed that day!

This is a very special community of believers and I am most thankful for all of you.

Most of all, I am thankful for God’s guidance and His grace. If I should write something that encouraged you, it is God who is responsible. So I give all glory to Him.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,  who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Thank you for your support and prayers. May the Lord bless you every day as you serve Him, the one true God, the Good Shepherd and the King of Kings!

In His Love, Cindy

  1. What a lovely encouraging personal message you have posted for us today Cindy – thank you! It makes me reflect on the beginning of my blogging/writing journey, when what I shared was for strangers. God has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams with Godly brethren, who I have come to know as friends also. It isn’t anonymous anymore, praise God! Your writing and prayerful comments has been a great source of inspiration and encouragement over the few years I have been here; I thank our Father God for you and others on WordPress.
May His Spirit continue to guide and bless your service for the Kingdom of God 🙏

  2. Thank you Cindy, for your consistent and positive presence in this space.

I too wish that I could be more present on the blogs that I follow and on those that follow me. I have to trust that God leads me to the posts that I need to interact with and let go of the stress of not doing it all.

    1. I know of several times when I randomly decided to read someone’s blog that I hadn’t read for a while, and it was exactly what I needed that day! Case in point: Mama Lava’s post on reading Proverbs. Thank you, Lord!
God bless you today, Barbara! Thank you for commenting.

  4. Thank you for sharing Cindy! I’m new to following your blog and blogging myself, and have enjoyed being here. There will come a day soon I will have to say the same – there are just so many great fellow Christian bloggers! You’ve given an example of how to approach it ~ Rosie
