Sunday’s Memory Verse for 8/3/25
Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 (emphasis mine) Read full chapter
Commentary: Fruitbearing is not only possible but certain if the branch remains in union with the vine, though uniformity of quantity and quality is not promised. But if the life of Christ permeates a disciple, fruit will be inevitable. Expositor’s Bible Commentary

I’ve been focusing on this verse a lot lately. I want to stick so close to Jesus (abide) that His fruit in me will be visible!

Amen! It’s also a promise:
“If you remain in me and I in you, you WILL bear much fruit.” Blessings, Cindi! 🍇

Loved the part “though uniformity of quantity and quality is not promised”. Reminded me of the song “The Paint is still wet”. Or it was “Under construction” not sure. Blessings Cindy.
