1-minute devotional for Monday, 7/28/25
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2 (emphasis mine)
“It’s costly to be faithful. The early Church feared heresay more than it feared martyrdom. Faithfulness brings difficulty….. May God help us in these sad and bewildering times to be men and women who follow the Lord wherever He would go, who put truth first, who refuse to conform to the times.”

Anyone from an orthodox Catholic family knows what it is like if Jesus finds you and you begin to walk with Him. You get shunned and left out of family gatherings, they try intervention to get you to return. Some just plain turn their backs on you. It is the same for a Muslim who converts and for some Jewish folks. Some do realize the cost of coming to the Lord. Praise God it did not cost me my life, only a change is relationships here on earth. Praise God for sisters like you who are faithful and call us all to that walk, Thank you never says enough for what you do, Thanks Cindy. Blessings

Being shunned by family is far more hurtful than anyone knows, unless they have experienced it themselves. Many Christians know this pain. But God is faithful. He is always with us. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter. Then we can comfort others.
Thank you, Eileen, for you precious encouragement (right when I needed it!) God bless you as you serve Him! 🙏 💕 ✝️
